Digital literacy means having the skills you need to live, learn, and work in a society where digital technology is everywhere around us. Regardless of who you are or where you came from, being digitally literate is a must for a full life.
After the success of our pilot course, we are looking for your support to continue providing it for free at our two training facilities in Reyhanli and Iskenderun. We are especially proud that the course was well attended by young women, who seldomly pursue educational programs.
What skills do we teach?
The curriculum includes 12 weeks of classroom training (250 hours), practical projects, and a final assessment.
At the end of the course, the trainees are confident to work with:
Common browsers and search engines
MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Why we chose those skills?
We designed the course based on the digital skills that are in demand in the areas where we operate. It helps our students benefit from the many opportunities internet and digital technologies offer to facilitate their self-sufficiency and integration in the host country.
Digital literacy is a pathway to:
Searching and applying for jobs
Employability in most sectors that require basic digital skills
